Charterhouse, the organizers of the annual Ghana Music Awards in collaboration with Telecel Ghana,just launched their 25th anniversary of giving awards to talented artistes in Ghana and beyond.
They also unveiled the nominees for this year’s awards scheme and as usual, with our good works, we (Millennium Telesat) had the opportunity to stream the event live and smoothly .
Over the years, the Ghana Music Awards has evolved into the paramount and most esteemed event within the Ghanaian entertainment sphere. Since its inception in 2000, it has served as the cornerstone of the music industry, with a clear objective: to identify, acknowledge, and honor remarkable achievements in music. This scheme comprises an academy, consisting of DJs, presenters, producers, and similar professionals, alongside a board comprising industry experts, and the general public. For 24 years, the awards have encapsulated the essence of Ghana’s music, its people, and its culture. The launch of its 25th anniversary on Thursday, March 28, 2024, was attended by prominent industry figures, media representatives, musicians, and music enthusiasts alike.
