ALL AFRICAN GAMES, 2024: CRICKET GAMES
The 13th African Games, also known as the All-African Games, took place from March 8–23, 2024 in Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast, Ghana. The event featured over 5,000 athletes competing in 29 sports disciplines, including eight that will qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The games included events such as: Arm wrestling, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball (3×3), Beach volleyball, Boxing, Chess, Cricket, Cycling, Football, and Handball.

The cricket games was held at the Achimota Cricket Oval at the Achimota Senior High School. The matches were played in the Twenty20 International (T20I) format. The teams were divided into two groups of four, with Group A consisting of South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, and Ghana, and Group B consisting of Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Nigeria, and Namibia. In the group stage, each team faced off against their counterparts in a round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the semi-finals.

And as the games were ongoing, Millennium Telesat did an online live streaming for a YouTube channel called SPORTSEYE AND UK MEDIACITY differently. We also provided a satellite 📡 transmission for a Uganda company to stream the cricket games smoothly.
